Tugged by wonderful shegollum.

1.I never had a Carnival costume: when I was a child I pretended to be indifferent...but I'd have done everything to go to a Carnival party dressed up as a princess!!!
2.I believed in Santa Claus until I was twelve...I was such a gullible child!!! Perhaps fantasy was better than reality of life.
3.I love pasta!!! I adore it!!Especially home-made pasta : lasagne, tortellini, tagliatelle, cannelloni, gnocchi....I love them so much!!!!
4.I'm very very very scared of mice!!!! I abhor them!!! Small, big, white, black, field mice or tranch rats....even cartoon mice!!! I can't help myself!!! Really!
5.I'm very fond of history, particularly Medieval and Renaissance history : a passion born after I read the book "Ivanohe" by Sir Walter Scott. Long time ago.
6.I'm a terrible driver!! To be honest, I don't like to drive , I do it because it's necessary. My fellow workers say that I'm a four-wheeled danger!!! I'm specialized in parking!
7.I'm a day-dreamer. I'm an incurable stargazer!!! The dreams don't hurt anyone.

I tag foxrafer, alexabond, liarsdance, archet, ribby, djozeppa, irrlicht74 if they feel like it.

I'm with you on pasta... as is my husband! And he even makes his own... mmmm, homemade ravioli!

*grin* It was "Ivanhoe" for me as well that got me into history. And I'm an awful driver too. I'm beginning to think we may have a lot in common...

I don't tend to put memes in my LJ, so I hope you don't mind if I respond here:

1. I mutter to myself constantly while cooking, working, writing. And I talk to inanimate objects (usually my computer, but that's usually swearing.. *grin*), People who've known me a while know not to answer anything unless I raise my voice!

2. I pretty much constantly have stories running through my head--bits of dialogue, ideas, whatever. Most of the time I remember not to say them out loud... but occasionally I slip.

3. I'm happiest in a bookstore or library. If I'm at all depressed, half an hour surrounded by books, and I feel much better.

4. I have a habit of nudging my husband like a cat to get him to scratch my head--but it works!

5. I have a random quote generator in my head--a lot of what people say brings up quotes from books or movies... but trying to share it just gets me a puzzled look. Except from my husband, who usually beats me to the quote. *grin*

6. One of my serious passions is Celtic literature and fairy-lore... I have two entire shelves of books, and I've translated three Welsh fairy-tales from 14th-century Welsh on my own, because I can!

7. One of the most wonderful smells in the world to me is a sun-warmed cat just in from the outside--spicy, a little dusty, and just warm-smelling. If they bottled that, I'd buy it!

Huh--this was fun! Thanks for tagging me!

Oh sweetie! We really have a lot in common! I share with you a strong, almost physical passion for the books: they're sacred things for me!!! In every book, in every phrase, in every word I "feel" a scrap of the writer's soul!!
Thank you, honey, for commenting.
Thank you so much. You're very very kind, baby!!

1. I love skeletons. I can’t even tell you why, I just do. I asked my father to draw me one, when I was about five or six years old, because I wanted one just to look at. I’m pretty sure that usually kids don’t do that. Well, and I loved them ever since. :)

2. For some weird reason, I love Halloween and especially Halloween pumpkins, too. And yes, that’s weird, because only two or three years ago, we weren’t even celebrating Halloween over here. We still don’t really celebrate it. It’s more or less for the kids, and only for those whose parents know what Halloween is. But I stumbled over Halloween (and the pumpkins) very early, and yeah, I love it. Not the horror/scary/blood-and-gore part, but the friendly making-your-peace-with-the-past-and-the-deceased part. :)

3. I’ve never been kissed in my whole life. So far. But I doubt it will ever happen. (That’s why I couldn’t help you with your last post. Sorry.) I know, it’s unusual, but well; that’s the way it is.

4. I don’t think I could live without music. I love music, and it’s very important for me to always have the radio on, or a CD or something.

5. I buy most of the TV shows I like in English. Mostly because the German translation is total crap (see my LJ entry on “Heroes”), the dubbing voices of different actors are often the same (like, John Cusack, Edward Norton, Ethan Hawke and Gollum have the same voice – a wonderful voice, and I love Andreas Froehlich for his work, but still the same voice), the shows are cut (because of some copyrights and some such) and most of the really, really good TV shows (Doctor Who, Torchwood etc.) just aren’t available in German (plus, I’m pretty sure I never want to watch one of those dubbed).

6. I’m pretty adamant about my pairings. I love to read fanfiction, but I don’t read everything, because once I’ve settled on a pairing, I want to keep it. I settled on that particular pairing, because if fit perfectly in my opinion, so why should I change it? So, no VigOrli or VigBean for me. And yes, I know that I’m kinda limiting myself here, and that there are a zillion brilliant fanfics I’m never going to read.

7. I still write most of my stories by hand and type them into my PC later. :)

Hi, baby! Thank you for replying to me, you're very kind!
I love music, too! I listen to my car radio every day when I go to work and come from it. I buy movies and TV shows dvd on Amazon.com and in english : you're right when you complain of bad translation (italian translations are often inconsequent)and cuts and others problems.
Although I'm passionately fond of vigbean stories (I love Sean and Viggo above all!!!) , I love reading, and reading your works is always a great experience for me!!
Your writing style is absolutely wonderful!
Thank you so much for your kindness and helpfulness!!!

P.S.: I've never been kissed too and, sometimes, I miss the tenderness and warmth of that love's expression.

*kisses* *many many many kisses*.

First of all: I'm SO stupid! *headdesk* Sorry for a MAJOR typo. OF COURSE I LOVE VIGBEAN!! I mean, I wouldn't write it with afra_schatz, if I don't like it, right? Sorry again.

What I REALLY meant was OrliBEAN.

Your writing style is absolutely wonderful!

Thank you so much, darling. *beams* Often I'm not really satisfied with my writings myself, so it's always great to see that at least my readers think it worth reading. That's what keeps me writing. :)

*hugs & kisses*
